How to Check for if your Device has pending updates
Please follow the below instructions to assist you in finding if your device is up to date
Windows 10 & 11
you can see if you have a pending update by looking at the bottom corner of your taskbar
If you have any pending updates you maybe prompted to restart or keep working from our support tool
Windows 11
Alternatively, select the windows key and navigate to settings
Select the windows update tab
If there are no pending updates you will have the below screenshot
If an update is available just click install and once finished restart your device at your earliest convenience.
Windows 10
Open Settings (Win+I), and click/tap on the Update & security icon.
Click on Windows Update on the left side, and any pending updates will be listed below.
If an update is available just click install and once finished restart your device at your earliest convenience
MAC OS
In the top-left corner of your screen, click the Apple icon to open a drop-down menu.
There are two menus here that you can use to check for updates. Click either System Preferences or About This Mac.
No matter which one you pick, in the menu that opens, click Software Update.
Wait a few moments for your Mac to connect to the internet and check for updates. If an update is available, you'll be shown what it's called — just click Update Now or Upgrade Now to install it.
